An idea. The basis of a business. Mighty companies have grown from a single thought. In this interactive presentation, life-long brainstorming guy & serial entrepreneur Jose Castillo will share stories, tips and tricks on creativity, and how to foster a community of new ideas. Come prepared to have fun, learn something new and build the next new thing.

Your Scorecard
What if you were playing in a critical sporting contest, and no one told you the score until the end? What if your life and the lives of those around you were significantly impacted by how well your team performed, and yet no one could agree on how well you were doing, or what you needed to do differently? That is how it often feels to lead a business or nonprofit, but that does not mean that it has to be that way. Most organizations have information available that could help them make important decisions, better utilize their resources, and keep their team motivated. They just need to learn how to find and use it. In this workshop, we will explore how organizations can take their financial and operational data and utilize it in building and maintaining scorecards to track their progress and success, and be more likely to reach their goals.

The Communication Game
Every small business needs to communicate with current and future customers. And in today's world, it needs to be done online.

This talk by award-winning journalist Nick Shepherd shows how small businesses can play the communication game.

Think of a football game. There are three main components at work every game day: the stadium, the game, and the broadcast.

It is the same thing with small business communication. The stadium is a company's website, the field is interesting content, and the broadcast is traditional and social media.

This course will talk about websites, internet content, and how to spread the word to the public.

Developing Your Braveheart
"On every level, everyone faces challenges. Often, in building a business or any type of venue, due to unforeseen matters of the heart and mind, people often get stuck. Sometimes mental blocks are created by the suffering of a traumatic experience such as the unexpected death of a loved one, a divorce or severe injury leaving us devastated. Other times, we are overcome by ongoing negative thoughts placed there by others who through their own insecurities or feelings of disapproval, tear us down. In either case, we may become stuck, believing the lies we have come accustomed to believe.

I believe everyone has potential. I believe every dream has the possibility to come true. But I also believe self limiting beliefs can hinder the very dreams we possess, keeping us from being the very person we were created to be. As an experienced life coach, speaker and trainer, I will take participants through a lesson called ""The Terror Barrier."" This teaching demonstrates where these false beliefs are developed, how the mind process them and how they hinder our success. It also teaches how to overcome by working through and facing them. It will show you how to persevere through the fear, overcome the lie and move into victory. The goal is to free the listener from anything that potentially binds."

New Holistic Marketing Trends That Every Business Owner Must Follow
Old-fashion social media strategies failed at recognizing that social media marketing is a communication channel. They mostly used it as a promotional channel. That model changed, giving birth a revolutionary marketing engine where social media marketing integrates a robust content marketing strategy to build an audience offering value first.

We want to teach attendees the best practices to get visible following what works for 2019 and beyond.

I would love to offer each participant the opportunity to get a free audit and strategy they can implement for rapid change.

Escaping the Alligator Pit - And Moving On!
Have you found yourself sometimes feeling like you’re stuck in the proverbial alligator pit? It’s not surprising because leaders, and we are all leaders in one way or another, are constantly bombarded by countless responsibilities, personalities, and expectations. Developing strong connections and inspiring buy-in and loyalty can be difficult with so many demands snapping at us. And, on top of that, we are often expected to lead with strong, visionary plans for the future.

Imagine getting out of the pit, staying out, and moving on! This presentation gives you ways to do just that:

Consciously frame your point of view to the positive
Forget about compromise, focus on finding the other person's win
Clarify your “Why” and others will be excited about your “What”

Increase engagement, improve productivity, and drive growth using positive thinking, "win-win" relationships, and shared vision. Come join in as we talk about being an effective leader and equally important, a happy and fulfilled leader that is OUT OF THE PIT and moving on.
